Yes, you heard it right. It’s big, it’s complex, and it can haunt your project for months! But it reminds me of a great quote:
“Plans are worthless, but planning is everything.”
Some amount of planning helps us think through the future, understand connections and elasticities between things, anticipate items we may not have otherwise thought of.
Just remember, reality is unlikely to match your plan. The plan is there to guide us, not to terrify us.
